Many in Silicon Valley have called for a disruption of engineering education and of all education for that matter. Ecole 42,  A French technology school with a radical approach to teaching — no tuition, no teachers and no prior degree required — is coming to Silicon Valley, potentially adding a new pipeline of programmers for a region starved for talent.

It aims to be a free non-profit open-to-all coding university for 10,000 students.

Ecole 42 in Silicon Valley could do for engineering education what Tesla did for the auto industry.
